Sunday, January 24, 2021 was a big day. It was 1 year since I finished treatment at Envita Medical Center.
Last Sunday, January 24th, was one year after I
finished my treatment at Envita Medical Center. There is not a doubt in my mind
that God used you and Envita to save my life. A lot has happened in the past
few months so I thought I would share an update.
Last August, some of my old symptoms started showing back
up. I had tremors and lost the ability to walk. On one of my worst incidences,
I fell and could not even drag my body or sit up. I had my phone and managed to
call for help. To say it was disheartening was an understatement. One of the
things that you had told me was that it appeared that this was all
environmental for me. I was going to have to find a place that I felt good and
move there. We knew that I felt better in Middle TN, up on a mountain where my
father- in- law lived. We had been visiting that location for 20 years. Where
we made a mistake is that we did not test it before moving in. Last fall, my
father- in -law hired someone to come and look at the house. They found, in
their own words, large amounts of mold under the house.
We left and got rid of our personal belongings once again. We moved about 45 min away to an extremely rural area with even higher elevation.
As soon as I left the moldy home, I started walking.
Not only that, I started thriving. I walk my dog usually at
least an hour a day.
I have started riding bikes, something I have not been able to do in years. Here is a video that my husband shot yesterday of me riding my bike.
We learned that you were right that where I live is crucial.
A friend who is a data scientist helped us pick the location where we now live
based on the strains of mold that made me sick and how prevalent they were in
the air where I was from- Knoxville, TN. This was confirmed when I tried to go
back a few weeks ago and I got extremely sick. We’ve since learned that I have
to check the humidity levels and air quality first. I am hopeful that I won’t
have to worry about that quite as much once I have detoxed more.
Thank you again for all that you have done. This year I will
turn 39 years old and I feel like, for the first time since I was a teenager, I
have a tremendous amount of energy. I was a sickly teenager so in some ways, I
think I am better now. You are a huge part of that. We are forever grateful.
